This privacy policy explains how OpenCourt Ltd (“OpenCourt”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data when you visit our website at opencourt.dev (the “Site”) or get in touch with us.
This policy covers the OpenCourt marketing website only. Personal data processed within the OpenCourt product on behalf of clubs is governed by separate agreements between OpenCourt and each club.
Who we are
OpenCourt Ltd is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC886475), with its registered office at 6 Kings Court, Falkirk, FK1 1PG. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this Site.
We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

What data we collect
We only collect what we need:
- Enquiry details — if you contact us or fill in a form: your name, email address, club or company name, and anything you include in your message.
- Booking a call — if you book a call with us (via Calendly), your name, email address, and scheduling details.
- Technical data — when you visit, our hosting and any analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you view.
- Cookies — see the Cookies section below.
How and why we use it (legal bases under UK GDPR)
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the information you’ve asked for — legitimate interests (running and growing our business).
- To arrange and hold calls or demos you request — legitimate interests / taking steps prior to entering a contract.
- To keep the Site secure and working properly — legitimate interests.
- Where required, to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party providers to run the Site and our business, including:
- Hosting — Amazon Web Services (AWS), UK (London) region.
- Scheduling — Calendly, for booking calls.
- Email and communications — our email provider(s), for corresponding with you.
These providers only process your data on our instructions. Some are based outside the UK (for example, in the US). Where that is the case, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or reliance on an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and contact data only as long as we need it to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access your data; have it corrected or deleted; restrict or object to how we use it; request data portability; and, where we rely on your consent, to withdraw it. To exercise any of these, email privacy@opencourt.dev.
You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data — though we’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
Our Site uses essential cookies only, where they are needed for the Site to work. We do not currently use analytics or other non-essential cookies, so we do not show a cookie banner. Third-party services we link to (such as Calendly) may set their own cookies if you choose to use them, subject to their own policies. If we introduce non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the “last updated” date shown above.
